"My father passed away last year and left behind decades of papers no one had ever properly sorted. I had no idea where to begin. Legacurio came to the house, spent two sessions with us and produced a filing system that my mother can actually use. The way they handled everything — patiently, without any fuss — made a difficult task feel manageable."

"We used the Heirloom Cataloguing service for my wife's grandmother's collection — she had boxes of photographs going back to the 1950s, letters in Thai and English, and a range of small objects with no record attached. The catalogue Legacurio produced for us is beautifully organised and something our whole family will treasure. I'd estimate it would have taken us years to do this ourselves, if at all."

"We attended the Family Legacy Workshop as a group of four — my husband, my sister and her partner. It was more reflective and thoughtful than I expected. The facilitator was good at keeping things moving without it feeling rushed. We came away with a set of notes and a shared structure for writing down the family stories we want to keep. One minor point: the session ran slightly over time, which wasn't a problem for us but worth knowing."

"I appreciated that Legacurio was very clear from the start about what they do and what falls outside their scope. As an expat, I have a mix of Thai and international paperwork that needed organising, and they handled it carefully without making any comments that strayed into advice. That clarity was exactly what I needed."

"My family has lived in the same Bangkok house for three generations. There were literally hundreds of photographs with no labels, old land documents, awards my grandfather earned and many objects no one could name with confidence. The catalogue Legacurio produced over several weeks is the first time anyone in my family has had a proper record of all of this. My elderly mother was moved to see it."

"Good, solid work. We had a box of mixed Thai and English documents that had been sitting unsorted for years and Legacurio had it in order after a single afternoon session. The index they left us is clear and easy to follow. I would have liked a slightly more detailed written guide to the filing system, though I'm told that can be added on request."

A Closer Look at Three Engagements

Case Study 01 — Estate Document Organising

February 2025

The Situation

A Thai family in Bangrak had accumulated thirty years of estate-related papers across four filing drawers and several boxes. Following the mother's retirement, the family wanted everything in one organised, usable system before any of the next generation needed to access documents.

What We Did

Over two full-day sessions, we sorted all documents by category, discarded duplicates (with family approval), created a master index and labelled folder system, and produced a simple digital reference list. No advice was given on content — purely organisational throughout.

The Outcome

From four drawers and several boxes to a single, clearly labelled two-drawer system with a one-page index. Three family members reported being able to find a specific document within minutes of the handover — compared to what had previously taken an afternoon of searching.

"We should have done this years ago. The index alone has saved us more time than I can count." — Client

Case Study 02 — Heirloom Cataloguing

March–April 2025

The Situation

An expatriate family living in Sukhumvit wanted to catalogue and preserve the Thai grandmother's personal collection before a planned property sale. The collection included approximately 300 photographs, 40 personal objects and a quantity of handwritten correspondence.

What We Did

Six sessions over four weeks. Each item was photographed, described and entered into a structured catalogue. Photographs were scanned at high resolution. The grandmother was present for several sessions and provided context and names, which were recorded in the notes fields.

The Outcome

A digital catalogue of 340 entries, each with a description, photograph and provenance note where available. A printed copy was made for the grandmother; digital copies were handed to three family members. The family described it as "a permanent record we could not have made without help."

"Seeing her face when we showed her the finished catalogue — it was worth every baht." — Client

Case Study 03 — Legacy Workshop

April 2025

The Situation

A couple in their late fifties, both Thai, wanted to begin thinking about how to document and pass on family stories and values to their adult children and grandchildren. Neither felt they had a natural structure for this kind of reflection and wanted outside help to get started.

What We Did

A full-day workshop held at their home, facilitated in Thai and English. The session covered story-identification exercises, a framework for writing meaningful belongings lists and a guided conversation about the values they wanted to put into words. Materials and templates were left with the family.

The Outcome

By the end of the session the couple had identified fourteen family stories they wanted to write down, drafted a preliminary belongings list and agreed a simple structure for a family memory document they would complete together over the following months.

"I didn't know where to begin before this. Now we have a plan we can actually follow." — Client
