Terms & Conditions

These terms set out the basis on which Legacurio provides its services. Please read them at your own pace — we have written them to be clear and straightforward.

Last updated: 1 May 2025

Please Note

Legacurio provides document organisation, educational workshops and archiving services only. We do not provide legal, financial, tax or professional advice of any kind. Nothing in our services, communications or materials constitutes advice of that nature, and these terms should not be read as implying otherwise.

1. About Legacurio

Legacurio is an estate records organisation and family legacy archiving service. We are based at 156 Sukhumvit Soi 24, Khlong Tan, Bangkok 10110, Thailand. Our contact details are: telephone +66 43 318 7029 and email [email protected].

These terms govern the relationship between Legacurio and any person who uses or enquires about our services ("you"). By engaging our services, you accept these terms. If you have any questions about them, please get in touch before booking.

2. Our Services

Legacurio currently offers three services:

Estate Document Organising

฿3,800

A careful administrative service that helps families gather, sort and store personal and estate-related papers into a clear, labelled system. The work covers building an index, creating folders and making secure digital backups. No advice or document drafting is provided.

Family Legacy Planning Workshops

฿14,000

Reflective educational workshops covering topics such as recording family stories, listing meaningful belongings and thinking about passing on values and memories. Purely informational in nature and not a substitute for professional guidance.

Heirloom Cataloguing & Memory Archive

฿32,000

A thorough archiving service that helps families catalogue heirlooms, photographs and documents, then organise and digitise them into a lasting personal archive. Includes a tidy record with descriptions and images for the family's own keeping. Strictly an organisational service.

All prices shown are in Thai Baht (฿) and are subject to change. The price at the time of your booking confirmation is the price that applies to your engagement.

3. Scope of Our Services

We wish to be transparent about what our services include and what they do not include. This helps us work together well and ensures your expectations are well-placed from the outset.

What We Do

  • Sort, label and organise documents and personal records
  • Create filing systems and digital backup structures
  • Catalogue heirlooms and photographs with descriptions
  • Facilitate reflective, educational family legacy workshops
  • Digitise and archive materials into a lasting personal record

What We Do Not Do

  • Provide legal, financial or tax advice of any kind
  • Draft, review or interpret legal documents
  • Act as a notary, solicitor or licensed professional
  • Store your original documents long-term on your behalf
  • Make decisions about your estate or family assets

4. Bookings & Fees

Bookings are made by contacting us via our website enquiry form, by telephone or by email. A booking is confirmed when we send you written confirmation, at which point these terms apply to your engagement.

Fees are quoted in Thai Baht and are payable according to the payment schedule set out in your booking confirmation. For workshops and multi-session engagements, a deposit may be required before the first session.

We will always confirm the total fee and any deposit requirement clearly before your booking is finalised. There are no hidden charges.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand that plans can change. Our aim is to be flexible and understanding wherever possible.

7+ DAYS

Cancellations made seven or more days before your scheduled session will receive a full refund of any deposit paid.

3–6 DAYS

Cancellations made three to six days before your session may be rescheduled once at no charge. If cancelled outright, the deposit may be retained to cover preparation costs.

1–2 DAYS

Short-notice cancellations are handled on a case-by-case basis. We will always try to find a fair resolution and appreciate early communication wherever possible.

If we need to cancel or reschedule for reasons on our side, we will notify you as early as possible and offer a full alternative date or a full refund.

6. Your Materials & Documents

The personal documents, photographs and heirlooms you share with us remain your property at all times. We handle them carefully and return all original materials to you at the completion of our work.

You are responsible for providing materials that you have the right to share with us and for ensuring that any third-party documents (such as joint family records) may legitimately be included in the organisational work.

We recommend keeping your own copies of all important original documents before any organisational work begins as a precaution, even though we take every possible care.

7. Confidentiality

We treat all personal information and materials shared with us with the strictest confidence. Our team members are required to handle client information discreetly and do not discuss client details outside of the service delivery context.

Your information will not be shared with any third party except as described in our Privacy Policy or where required by applicable law.

8. Our Liability

Legacurio takes care with every engagement. However, our services are organisational and educational in nature. We do not accept responsibility for any decision made on the basis of information gathered, sorted or archived during our work, nor for any personal, financial or other outcome.

In the event of physical damage to original documents or items while in our care, we will work with you fairly and promptly to address the situation. We recommend that valuable or irreplaceable items are separately insured before being shared with us.

Our total liability in connection with any service engagement is limited to the fees paid for that specific engagement. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Legacurio website and in our materials — including text, design, illustrations and workshop content — is the property of Legacurio and may not be reproduced without our prior written permission.

The personal archives, catalogues and document systems we create for you belong to you entirely. We retain no rights over the content of your materials or the archival records we produce on your behalf.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any dispute arising under or in connection with them will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Thai courts.

In the first instance we always prefer to resolve any concerns through open and friendly communication. Please reach out to us and we will do our very best to find a satisfactory resolution.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. The current version, with the date of the most recent update, is always published on this page. Changes take effect from the date of publication and apply to bookings made on or after that date.

The terms in force at the time of your booking confirmation govern your engagement, so we encourage you to read them at that point.

12. Contact Us

If you have questions about these terms or about your engagement with us, we are always happy to hear from you.
